    Financial support to be a speaker of the 13th Latin American and Caribbean Congress of Immunology (ALACI) 2022. Varadero, Cuba.

  • Health innovation and entrepreneurship course 2022

    Sixty students selected by the School of Health Innovation (SHI) were trained in the topic covered in how to create companies based on our research ideas or bring our research ideas into existing companies. It was taught in three different modules and countries (Norway, Sweden, and Denmark).

    SHI is a collaboration between the University of Copenhagen, the University of Oslo, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and the Karolinska Institutet (KI). The Novo Nordisk Foundation financially supported the course.

  • Speaker at the 20th Anniversary of The School of Genetics and Biotechnology, UNMSM - 2022

    The School of Genetics and Biotechnology at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM), Peru, invited 12 former students to present their research as part of the "20th Anniversary of The School of Genetics and Biotechnology of the UNMSM".

  • EMBO Scientific Exchange Grant 2021

    Financial support from the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) to study the “Impact of DNA repair inhibitors on the immune system” as a collaborative work between the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, and the Karolinska Institutet (KI), Sweden.

    Financial support from the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) to study the “Impact of DNA repair inhibitors on the immune system” as a collaborative work between the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway, and the Karolinska Institutet (KI), Sweden.

    In 2021, the Peruvian scientific community highlighted 25 scientific articles from Peruvian scientists (Cientificos.pe).

  • Travel grant - 20th FEBS YSF - 2021

    100 Ph.D. students and postdocs from across the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) area were selected to attend the 20th FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF) and the 45th FEBS Congress, planned initially for Croatia and Slovenia, respectively. Changed to virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Financial support to attend the 37th Norwegian Society for Immunology (NSI) Annual Meeting 2019. Oslo, Norway.

  • Trainee Grant - ChiNor 2019

    The Department of Biomedicine at the University of Bergen (Norway), in collaboration with the Cheeloo College of Medicine at Shandong University (China), organized a Summer School at Shandong University, China. Ten students from Norway and twenty from the host university (China) were selected to learn about "Drug design to target a vital metabolic pathway".

  • "Discussion Lunch" with the Kavli Prize Laureates in Nanoscience 2018

    Twenty students selected by NTNU attended a discussion lunch with the Kavli Prize Laureates in Nanoscience (Jennifer A. Doudna, Emmanuelle Charpentier, and Virginijus Šikšnys) on the topic of CRISPR-Cas9. * Nobel laureates in Chemistry 2020.

  • Travel grant 2018

    Financial support to attend the 36th Norwegian Society for Immunology (NSI) Annual Meeting 2018. Oslo, Norway.

  • 4th NordBioMedNet Summer School in Computational Biomedicine 2018

    Twenty-five students from the Nordic countries were selected (Norway (5), Sweden (5), Denmark (5), and Finland (10)) to take a Summer School from 12-17th of August in Seili Island, The Archipelago Research Institute, University of Turku, Finland.
